Tapestry Cleaning Instructions

Silvertex (category 30):

The material should be cleaned periodically to maintain its appearance and prevent the accumulation of dirt and contaminants. Stains, spills or dirt should be cleaned immediately to prevent them from becoming stale. Use soap-based cleaners or special fabric cleaners and a damp cloth to remove stains. Varnishes, strong cleaners, detergents, xylene-based solutions, acetone or MEK irreversibly damage the material.
Certain clothing and accessory dyes (such as those used on denim) can stain lighter fabrics.

Lima (category 34):

The material should be cleaned periodically to maintain its appearance and prevent the accumulation of dirt and contaminants. Stains, spills or dirt should be cleaned periodically to prevent them from becoming old. To remove stains, use cleaners containing no more than 70% ethanol using a soft cloth.
